Manchester United have responded with interest after being offered the services of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to a report.
Rabiot joined Juventus in 2019 after running down his contract with Paris Saint-Germain. However, he now looks likely to leave the Serie A side. He has played regularly for them over the past three seasons, but without making a major impression.
About to enter the final year of his contract, it could be time for Juventus to sell him. A Premier League transfer is a possibility for the 27-year-old.
Tuttomercato Web claims intermediary Luis Ferrer is helping to find a landing spot for Rabiot. Within that process, he has “proposed” the Frenchman to Man Utd. And in turn, United “said they were interested”.
Whether that progresses into a bid, only time will tell. The report clarifies that Juventus would be looking for a figure of around €15m-€20m.
Therefore, United could pay anywhere between £12.9m and £17.1m if they were to make a formal move for Rabiot.

Midfield is an area they are looking to upgrade this summer. Nemanja Matic, their only natural defensive option in the position, is going to leave the club. More advanced options like Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard will also be departing.
United’s primary target to fill the void is Frenkie De Jong. However, Erik ten Hag is looking to make his budget stretch as far as possible and adding Rabiot to his midfield options would be sensible.
Even though the price tag may seem inviting, this may be one to swerve for United. But sometimes all a player needs is a change of scenery.
For example, Rabiot’s former midfield partner Rodrigo Bentancur has done better for Tottenham than he did for Juventus so far. Rabiot may have a point to prove if he was to make a Premier League move.
United should certainly tread cautiously before making any commitment, though.
