Donny van de Beek changes agent as he plots Manchester United transfer exit in January. The 24-year-old’s game time has suffered horrendously since he moved to Old Trafford in 2020. He appears to be a far cry from the player who impressed in Ajax Amsterdam’s UEFA Champions League run in 2018/19.
Van de Beek is yet to start a league game this season and was left on the bench for a fifth successive game as the Red Devils were mauled by arch-rivals Liverpool.
The Dutch international had initially planned to move away in the summer as Everton were keen on a deal. However, it was later revealed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had apparently blocked the move.

A January transfer could now be on the cards as Juventus, Newcastle United, and Everton look to seal a move. The Red Devils are also thought to be open to letting the player leave, regardless of a loan deal or a permanent transfer provided that the fee suits their demands.
In fact, the midfielder has also got the ball rolling on a potential exit as he has changed agents. The Dutchman has replaced Guido Albers with Ali Dursun, who is now given the job of finding a ‘solution’ for his new client.
Dursun is also the agent of Barcelona ace Frenkie de Jong –a former teammate of Van de Beek at AFC Ajax. However, a move will be hard to negotiate given that the out-of-favour star is tied down at the club till 2025.
Regardless, only time will tell whether the player’s new agent can sort out his situation and find him a new club in 2022.
