Marcus Rashford is ‘back to his best’ after fully recovering from an operation on his shoulder.
That’s according to Manchester United team-mate Dean Henderson, who says the forward was carrying a ‘few knocks’ last season and was unable to play to his full potential.
Rashford opted for surgery after the European Championships to clear up a long-standing shoulder issue, which plagued him during the second half of last season.
United have made a mixed start to the season without Rashford and they’ve sorely missed his pace and power in wide areas.
Rashford returned to light training in August and he participated in a behind-closed-doors friendly yesterday where he scored twice in a 3-0 win against Blackburn.
That’s positive news for United ahead of their trip to Leicester City after the international break and Henderson says Rashford has been on fire in training.
‘You know what? It’s funny because he looks so sharp since he’s come back from his shoulder injury and everything from last season,’ Henderson told ManUtd.com

‘I think he was carrying a few knocks.

‘So for him to come back, he looks back to his best and I’m really excited to see him out there.

‘I think he is going to help the team a lot.’
Solskjaer has chopped and changed his frontline in Rashford’s absence, with the Norwegian struggling to find the right balance in his front three.
