Manchester United target Eduardo Camavinga is set to leave Rennes before the transfer window closes, according to reports in France.
The 18-year-old has entered the final year of his contract with Rennes and has failed to reach an agreement over a new deal with the French club.
United have expressed an interest in signing Camavinga this summer and made an approach to the midfielder’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, about a possible deal this summer.
According to Ouest-France, Camavinga has made Rennes’ supporters aware that he has already played his final game for the club.
According to L’Equipe, Rennes would be willing to sell if their €30 million (£25.5m) asking price is met.
Speaking earlier this summer, Rennes manager Bruno Genesio made it clear that the French club would be open to allowing Camavinga to leave.
‘We have already stressed several times that we cannot afford to remain in this situation concerning an international player like him,’ Genesio said.

‘It’s part of a career to have important decisions to make, he has a very important one [decision] to make for his future, and we at the club also have our interests to defend.

‘I hope we find a solution that everyone is satisfied with.’
