Atalanta is arising as main suitors for Daniel James this summer, should Manchester United decide to cash in on the pacy winger.
Indeed, he could well be shown the exit door given the abundance of choices in attack for United.
Last season saw James handed 26 appearances across all competitions, though the majority of those came from the bench.
With Sancho’s arrival, James revealed he was considering his future options in early July. One potential option is to join the club he came so close to joining two years ago, Leeds United.
However, Serie A side Atalanta are now appearing as solid contenders to sign James, as per reports. The Bergamo-based outfit is looking to freshen up their attack and see James as an option.
