Saul’s agent has also reportedly been in touch with both Liverpool and Manchester United
Saul has fallen out of favour with Diego Simeone and has not been entitled to gain a settled spot in his best area of central midfield, with the arrival of Rodrigo De Paul from Udinese shunting him further down the pecking order. 
The Colchoneros are now apparently willing to let their one-club man fly the nest for €40million (£34.3m), with Saul still having five years left on his current contract.
Transfer Guru Fabrizio Romano also revealed in an interview on The United Stand that Saúl Ñíguez is considering options other than Barcelona. United have been informed about this development and Saul would love to move to the Premier League but at the moment nothing is advanced.
After signing long term target Jadon Sancho and with a deal for Raphael Varane almost wrapped up, Whether United push for a deal for the Atletico Madrid midfielder remains unclear at the moment but Saul would be a welcome addition to Ole’s team.
