Real Madrid has offered forward Vinicius Junior as part of their formulated deal with Manchester United for Raphael Varane, a report claims.
Following a prolonged transfer chase, the Red Devils are close to signing Varane. According to the Daily Mirror, though, Madrid has proposed to swell United’s attacking ranks further by incorporating Vinicius as part of the business between the two clubs.
Madrid president Florentino Perez has made Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe his top summer target. To afford Varane’s fellow Frenchman, though, he will have to raise further funds.
Los Blancos reportedly want £68.5million for the 21-year-old, who can play across the front line. United are in no mood to pay that sum after just signing Sancho for £73million, though.
Still, they could yet agree to sign the Brazilian on loan for next season as part of a loan-to-buy deal next summer.
Talks are reportedly continuous, but there is no indication as yet that the proposal could progress.
